I am a retired Officer from the Orissa Administrative Service in Orissa, India. Since my adolescence, Sri Aurobindo and the Mother (Mira Alfassa) inspired me. I organized and managed some Sri Aurobindo centres in parts of Orissa. I came in contact with Ramkrishna Das, Prapatti and Madhusudan Mishra in that connection. I also met and appreciated Nolinida, Champaklal, Madhav Pandit and many other Sadhaks in Sri Aurobindo Ashram, as I visited the Ashram several times. I was also greatly inspired by Satprem. Mira Aditi Centre has published my Bengali translations of Sri Aurobindo or the Adventure of Consciousness by Satprem, India's Rebirth and India the Mother, collections from the writings of Sri Aurobindo and The Mother respectively [SRI AUROBINDO ATHABA CHETANAR ABHIJAAN, and BHARATER PUNARJANMA and BHARATMATA] and some other books written by Satprem. At present, I have been writing and publshing in some websites, viz., Zaadz, Sulekha and some others in Freewebs, and in some communities in Orkut and in Blogs, namely, The New Vision, All choice, Barin Chaki and The New Platform. I mainly write about Sri Aurobindo and The Mother and the Light and the Way They have shown us.
